Course Description: This introductory geographic theory course provides students with a critical perspective on the nature and development of geographic knowledge and its application in the key subdisciplines of human geography, physical geography, and environmental studies.
Students in this course will learn about theory, but also how to apply theory. The aim is for stundets to come to see the power that theory holds, not just as an idea, but as a way of engaging with the world itseld. Students will also learn preliminary research techniques.
