Calendar Description: Students explore the history and methods of cultural geography. Contemporary landscapes, human-land adaptations, attitudes towards nature, colonial history and inter-cultural relations, and the cultural nature of the modern economy are examined through a mixture of directed field exploration, film and other arts, and studies of neighbourhood change. Prerequisite: Completion of 30 credits any discipline or permission of the instructor.
